Flowers from the Farm West Midlands celebrate British Flowers Week at BBC Gardeners World Live

British Flowers Week is back on 10-16 June and Flowers from the Farm from the Midlands region will be celebrating in Shakespearean style  at BBC Gardeners’ World Live at Birmingham’s NEC!

Chasing a fourth consecutive Gold medal at this year’s show, our creative Midlands members have taken design inspiration from Midsummer Night’s Dream for the theme of their exhibit and cafe decorations in the Floral Marquee. Visitors can expect to see thousands of blousy, seasonal British blooms adorning a romantic moon gate, a wedding table and a floral swing - and even crowning the bust of a donkey!

People often tell us that they can smell the delicious perfumes of a floral installation by Flowers from the Farm long before they actually see the flowers. The heady scent of locally-grown sweet williams, peonies, sweet peas and roses wafting up from a backdrop of beautiful larkspur, ammi, alchemilla mollis, snapdragons and cornflowers.

Aside from a floral top-up from Flowers by Clowance in Cornwall, all the beautiful blooms in the display have been grown by 10 flower farmers growing within 40 miles of Birmingham:

    • Camomile and Cornflowers
    • Hope and Glory Flower Company
    • Flowers by Anna Brian
    • Merrri Flowers
    • Strawhouse Flowers
    • The Enchanting Owl
    • Tuckshop Flowers
    • Vale Garden Flowers
    • Wild at Heart
    • Woore Farm

Be sure to share your British Flowers Week posts with the hashtag #BritishFlowersWeek and tagging Flowers from the Farm. And if you’re heading for BBC Gardeners’ World Live on 14-16 June, make a beeline for the Flowers from the Farm exhibit on Stand Number: SS3.

If you can’t make BBC Gardeners’ World Live, there are plenty more dates for the diary to see Flowers from the Farm at work - not least The Flower Farmers’ Big Weekend on 16-18 August when over 100 open flower farm events will be happening around the UK.

Flowers from the Farm will be exhibiting at the following 2019 Flower Shows:
