Press Day at RHSChatsworth

Article Published By Gill Hodgson on Jun 17 2017

    It rained.
The press and celebrities filled the marquee: Rachel Dyson and I spent a few busy hours on the Flowers From The Farm stand promoting British flowers before the weather declared a victory and the RHS a defeat and the site was evacuated.
Luckily we'd chatted to Alan Titchmarsh before that and shared a BBCRadio4 interview with him. We'd welcomed Mary Berry to the stand and Rachel made a useful contact with a farming journalist.
We'd dressed to impress from the knees up ... below the knees we were equipped for paddling in the River Derwent.
