Open Gardens – From Garden To Vase
August 15 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm£7.50
Open Gardens in aid of Katharine House Hospice
Culworth House’s The Old Rose Garden is now a cut flower garden run by local flower grower and floral designer ‘From Garden to Vase’.
This area is surrounded by yew hedging providing a sheltered space to grow flowers for floral arrangements.
Here there are beds dedicated to over 100 dahlias, which look spectacular in the summer.
Next door to Culworth House, 1 Butt’s Close is a 1920s’ semi and home to ‘From Garden to Vase’.
The large back garden is dedicated to growing flowers and foliage primarily for cutting as well as being a family garden. There are some interesting garden buildings and wonderful views over the valley.
Pick and take home a small flower posy as a reminder of your visit. Cut flowers also for sale.
Tea and cake will be available from the summerhouse, weather permitting.
Cost: £7.50 which gives entry to two gardens; children under 18 years are free.
All proceeds to Katharine House Hospice.
