Come and join us at Little Garden for a workshop suitable for those wanting to turn their hand to using more sustainable methods in floral design. In a day, we will talk all things green!
The course includes the creation of two foam-free arrangements and using sustainably-sourced moss as the foam replacement.
After some discussion on sustainability in floristry and a general overview of floral foam, we will make a long-and-low display in moss suitable for a church window, ceremony table, or casket topper.
In the afternoon, Lois will demonstrate how to make a pedestal arrangement using moss and chicken wire, followed by the chance for you to make your own, put your new skills to good practice, and ask questions as you go.
The day will be broken up by a home-cooked lunch and a chance to pick Lois’ brain on her 7 years of foam-free experience, and also chat about the British flower industry.
The price includes endless choice of flowers, all necessary materials, tea, cake, and a healthy vegetarian home-cooked lunch.
Cost: £185 per person
