Willow weaving workshop & demo : Hoops as wreath bases….and a demo for creating joyful gathered & foraged style wreaths!
Join Victoria at Wild Willow & Bloom for an interactive demo. A mix of active willow weaving and a demo for an afternoon of creativity and learning. You will head away with your own handmade willow hoop, as well as inspiration for gathering foliage to create your own unique seasonal and sustainable wreath.
Part 1
Learning some fundamental techniques for working with willow and weave your own beautiful natural willow hoop, which can be used as a wreath base or for other craft or garden projects.
Part 2
After an opportunity for hot drinks and a good chit chat, Victoria will demonstrate how to dress your wreath base with natural foliage and decorations.
There will be discussion about what foliage is good to use in wreaths, and this interactive workshop/ demo will give you the confidence to create your own uniquely naturally beautiful and very seasonal wreath for your home.
