a summer study

Jun 20 2018 @ 10:30am - Jun 20 2018 @ 3:30pm
Location: Great Barton, Suffolk

With the fresh growth of early Summer well underway we will wander my garden and see how the season is progressing whilst seeking out hidden treasures. Every day brings forth a new gem, perhaps a returning foxglove, a peony or sweet scented philadelphus - lush greens, soft pinky apricot roses and honey scented sweet peas. We will discuss the many things that you can use for arrangements that are often overlooked and my flower choice philosophy. I will then demonstrate a large urn arrangement using branches and summer flowers from the best that is available at this time of year plus a few extra special bits that we may gather from the garden. It will be a no foam arrangement. This will be followed by a lovely two course light lunch - hopefully outside if its beautiful weather. Then it will be your turn to create your own beautiful Summer urn arrangement under my guidance that you will be able to take home. All your work will be photographed for your own use later.

Cost: £250
