A day of flowers, where you will learn to create a large scale vase arrangement using a mix of homegrown and seasonal flowers. Your flowers and the vase will be yours to take home.
There are two dates for this class are the 12th of April and the 14th of June. The April class will be focused around spring flowers using Tulips, blossoms and Daffodils. The class in June will be a summer class with Peonies and early summer annuals. Please choose which class you would like to book via the drop down menu.
Both classes will run from 10.30am – 4pm
We will begin the day with tea and coffee in the barn where India will talk through the flowers and her process, followed by a short walk around the nursery (where India grows her flowers) and the garden to gather a few final flowers for your work.
We will then re-group in the barn, where India will give a short demo before you begin to create your own vases. We will then break for a three course lunch, which will be served in the garden (weather permitting). In the afternoon you will have time to finish your arrangements, and then style and photograph them.
This course if for everyone, you don’t have to be a florist to attend, no prior experience is needed.
