Perfect for shorter stems\, we’ll fill your jar with water then you’re ready to build your posy as you explore the farm.\nA bucket of blooms opens up possibilities. Enough to make your own bouquet or seasonal arrangement. Once you’ve picked your flowers and enjoyed your time on the farm\, take them home and let them rest in a cool place with lots of water for them to drink up. After this rest time\, they’ll be fully hydrated and ready to arrange. \nOur PYO event will run from 10am – 1pm. DESCRIPTION:Join Laura of Parsloe Farm Flowers in the Tree Thyme Garden\, to celebrate British Flower Week 2026.\nAs a member of Flowers from the Farm\, Laura grows both at her home farm and within the grounds of the Tree Thyme Garden. \nYou will get the chance to wander and explore the beautiful garden and see the growing space. Flowers will be available to buy on the day\, including jars of sweet peas and bouquets of wild and whimsical seasonal flowers. \nThere will be the opportunity to join in with a mini hand tie workshop. This is suitable to do with children if you’re bringing them along too and is payable on the day should you wish to join in at a cost of £15 pp or adult & child participating together. No previous experience necessary. Two sessions will run at 11am and 2pm for half an hour each. There will also be toys and a craft table to entertain the little one’s and tea and cake for the adults. \nParking on site. Please follow signs for where to park and for entrance into the garden.

Katie will be on hand to provide guidance on building your design if you’d like it\, but if you’re happier to ‘do your own thing’ it’s encouraged. We’ll enjoy two hours together\, with flowers\, chat\, drinks and a sweet treat. \nFeel free to bring your own vessel for arranging – a vase\, urn or bowl. Vases will be available to purchase on the day if you’d like to pick from a selection. No vase? no problem\, you’ll be provided with wrapping materials to keep your flowers hydrated and get them home safely. \nRefreshments are included. This is an ancient Japanese method and the results are minimalistic but so beautiful. You will have the bowl and Niwaki flower frog to use again and again.
