OUR STORY BlankSpaceEvents was founded by lead floral designer Emily Ramnarain, a passionate enthusiast of flowers and a dedicated lover of art and design. The company's inception was driven by an unwavering affection for the beauty of blooms and nature. Originally situated in Harrow, North London, our company dedicated many years to crafting bridal flowers and exquisite floral arrangements for upscale weddings and corporate events hosted at London's most prestigious hotels. However, a unique opportunity arose – an invitation to embark on a journey to live in the USA, leading us to take a break from the floral world in the UK and embracing the growth of our own little family. During this pause, the passion for floristry never wavered, and with a fresh perspective on the industry bought a profound desire to come back and start growing our own blooms and adopting more sustainable practices upon resuming the floral design business. This dream of cultivating unique and sustainable flowers ultimately inspired our move to Bedfordshire, where we found the outdoor space required to turn this into a reality. Operating under the new brand, Blank Space Events, we specialise in crafting distinctive designs and concepts, proudly featuring our own homegrown blooms and British slow-grown flowers, bringing spaces to life through our captivating floral designs. OUR PASSION Our passion is constantly inspired and driven by nature’s beauty. We find pleasure and delight in playing with the wonderful array of shapes, colours, and textures, whilst also looking at incorporating fragrances in our work, and finding the best way to showcase our beautiful blooms to produce something of splendour. SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES We strive to bring as many sustainable practices within the growing of our flowers, our work spaces, and the products we use in our floristry work too. So that wherever possible we use the most eco-conscious methods and equipment to grow and construct our florals. Zero floral foam in our mechanics and no single use plastics in our work. We are always delighted to spend time with clients to discuss an up coming wedding or event, and see how we can help play our part in bringing your spaces to life through floral design.
