hello@greystoneflowers.co.uk
We are small scale flower growers and florists based in Sheffield & Chesterfield providing gift bouquets, flower subscriptions, seasonal fresh or dried wreaths, workshops or flowers for weddings and events. Megan and Vicky have merged our two businesses Fallow Field Blooms and Blooms and Bantams creating Greystone Flowers. We use flowers we've grown and supplement with British flowers from local growers wherever possible. We do on occasions use flowers from wholesalers both British and Dutch to fulfil demand at times where we can't source locally outside of our growing season. We are keen to practice sustainable floristry so we am foam free and avoid single use plastics ensuring packaging is as eco-friendly as possible whilst still complimenting our flowers. We grow annual plants from seed, using peat-free compost and pesticide free to support wildlife. We have always had a love for growing and being in the garden but both followed the same journey growing our own wedding flowers and arranging them which was the spark for our businesses. Buying your flowers from local growers not only cuts down on the air miles, having a better impact on our environment, it allows you to experience the most beautiful flowers which aren’t always readily available such as Dahlia’s.
