About My Business

My name is Lizzie. I grow and sell seasonal cut flowers, foliage and herbs hand-picked fresh from our field and woodland in Devon. I also press and dry flowers for framing and dried flower craft. I am RHS trained and qualified in horticulture with a passion for wildlife gardening.

Our land is just over an acre, a beautiful spot overlooking the river Teign estuary in Combeinteignhead. We grow naturally and sustainably. We do not use any pesticides and have a strong ethos in mind to maintain the wonderful biodiversity of our land enjoying the wildlife, health and well-being this brings.

The woodland, banks and grassland are natural habitats for birds, wildlife and wildflowers. Here I carefully gather flowers such as primroses, blue bells and forget-me-nots, trailing and berried ivy, ferns, twigs, buds and blossom, fruits and nuts.
In the cultivated cutting area I grow flowers that are fragrant and pollinator friendly attracting hoverflies, butterflies and bees. I pick flowers that are old favourites and those that are less usual in modern day floristry.

I love bringing together the seasonal and the wild to create bespoke bouquets, pretty posies and natural hand - crafted wreaths. I use biodegradable twine and wrap and deliver locally.

If you would like to order flowers or wreaths, or to find out more about my business, please contact me via email, or phone or message me on facebook. Please note that our land is not open to the public.
