I am a level 2 qualified florist renting a small field in Banwell, where I live, to grow flowers to supply my own and local florists businesses. I grow many seasonal flowers and I am increasing my crops year on year, growing specific blooms for weddings and creating weekly bouquets for sale at the local garden centre. Fresh flowers are available April-October and then dried flowers and wreaths in the winter months. I also run 'Field to vase' courses, dried autumn wreath and Christmas wreath courses in a local Pub in Axbridge.
