I'm Rosie, and I live in the East Yorkshire Wolds with my young family. I took on an allotment to grow my own cut flowers during lockdown in 2019, i grew more than I could ever use, and Wardy’s Acre was born. As I discovered more about the environmental impact of the cut flower market, I became increasingly passionate about growing local flowers, including varieties that rarely make it to florists as they're not suitable for mass international transportation. Now I produce jamjar arrangements and bouquets delivered in and around my town of Driffield all through the growing season (April - October). I also offer subscription Flowers, and DIY bunches for you to arrange yourself. alongside Wholesale for local Florist. you can order a bunch via email, or through our Facebook or Instagram. You can find our roadside stall out most weekends throughout the growing season. Please follow in Instagram or Facebook for updates of what is available each weekend. All of our flowers are cut and conditioned for 24 hours to give you the longest vase time without the need for chemicals. to make our flower farm as minimal waste as possible whatever that doesn’t go into a bunch and to help the winter itch out of growing season i throw my hand to crating dried flower arrangement’s If you are interested in beautiful unique seasonal Yorkshire flowers, or my dried flower creations please just get in touch, I would love to hear from you.
