Ru aka Rupert Dannreuther (he/they) is an up and coming queer punk florist and flower grower who loves bold colours, unusual flowers and gorgeous tiny bouquets. We believe less is more an antidote to the pile it high globalised world of cheap imported supermarket flowers and end of line pile it high Columbia Road multi-buys. We love serving our local community and beyond and are based in Deptford SE8. We are committed to being sustainable in that we grow our own flowers in South East London and source from local farms often found on Flowers From The Farm as well as teaching people about the global flower trade and how support UK flower industry, how to compost and dry/preserve their flowers. We also don't drive so transport flowers in a boutique non-industrial scale using public transport and no van. ‘Where Have All The Flowers Gone?’ is named after a poignant Marlene Dietrich cover of the legendary anti-war song and their flowers are inspired by divine divas of the past. Ru makes beautiful mini bouquets, wearable flowers and eye catching displays in dazzling rainbow colours. Ru specialises in unusual, natural and foraged (legally) cut flowers and loves vintage pop culture. We have made displays for weddings, graduations, parties and always know how to make a talking point. Find out more and see our work at: http://wherehavealltheflowersgone.co.uk
