Want to be a Flower Farmer?

    You’ll need some land:

    • a large garden, skilfully managed, will provide a succession of flowers for local sales
    • half an acre will allow you to spread your wings still further -  provide bunches for your local retailers or posies for café tables or enter the world of wedding flowers.
    • an acre or more will allow you to sell wholesale to local florists throughout the year.

This isn’t gardening: it’s more like farming. It’s hard work and you’ll need a wide skill set covering horticulture and marketing – and that’s where Flowers from the Farm can help.  We are a network of growers like you.  Some are further along the way, and some perhaps haven’t yet got as far as you – but they’re all willing to share their experience and support each other.
