A year of organic flower farming

Join Susie (Wivenhoe Flowers) and Kay (Kinship Creative) for a fun flower-filled day. We will be starting with a tour of Susie’s flower fields and polytunnel where you will be able to pick your own beautiful early summer flowers.
Susie will be sharing her knowledge and experience talking you through her flower-farming year. You will also receive a copy of Susie’s ‘A seasonal guide to growing your own organic flowers’. We will then move to Farthing Field where Kay will take you on a tour sharing how we have planted 1400 saplings to create a woodland, an orchard, a willow grove and bee hive corner.
Susie will lead a session on flower arranging in which you will use your freshly picked blooms from her field to create a trio of bud vases, taking home the flowers and vases to keep or gift. We will then enjoy a tasty seasonal lunch on Farthing Field at a styled table decorated with Susie’s hand-grown flowers and share a glass of fizz and floral-filled creative conversation.
