Castle Farm is our family run farm in Kent, near the pretty village of Shoreham. In the summer months, our Lavender fields burst into colour across the Kent landscape. We cut the beautifully scented blooms for fresh bunches, dried bunches and we harvest and extract pure Lavender Oil. During Lavender Season we run events in the fields including Lavender Walks, BYO Picnics and Guided Tours. We also grow and dry grasses from across the farm, including wheat, maize, oats and barley. Our Hop gardens, which traditionally are hops for beer, now just grow hops for interior decoration - they are sold fresh from mid August to mid September, and then dried all year round. As experts at production and drying dried flowers for over 30 years - and with 5 RHS Chelsea Gold Medals to prove it - we know what good quality looks like! We delight in supplying a host of different uses from film, stage and TV sets to shop window displays, flower festivals and home decor...and we're happy to share our experience of retailing and displaying dried flowers. We hope you can visit us one day! Our farm shop selling local farm foods, decorations and gifts, is open all year round.
