My name is Sarah Wilson and I combine flower farming with floristry. My husband, Bob and I launched Compton Garden Flowers in 2016. We are based in the Somerset village of Compton Dando, and can be found 6 miles from Bath and 7 miles from Bristol. We are passionate about British flowers and grow the vast majority of our plants from seed. Our flowers are quintessentially cottage garden, grown because they make great cut flowers which ooze with colour, scent and character. Our aim is to grow these beauties so our customers can enjoy fresh cut flowers each and every season. We supply our customers across Bath & Bristol – local farm shops, artisan florists and anyone wanting seasonal British flowers for a special event or occasion. For example, for brides - we love working with you to design the perfect floral creations for your special day. Whether that be our 'DIY' buckets, full of beautiful British blooms, which you can use to create the look yourself, or us creating a completely bespoke floral look for you - or all points in between, the choice is yours. Throughout the year we run floristry workshops helping our customers learn how to create beautiful arrangements and bouquets using beautiful British flowers.
