Very pleased to meet you. My name is Samantha and I currently grow on a small scale on the edge of the Norfolk Broads not far from the east coast of England. It is here that the first rays of morning sunlight peep over the fields onto the plots. I believe there is nothing better than seasonal, locally grown flowers. In tune with the seasons - some may be fleeting, but this is what makes them all the more special. Every flower is brimming with character along with movement and scent and - occasionally perfectly imperfect but all the more beautiful for it. These are all the things which have been bred out of factory farmed flowers flown in from all over the world. Like the slow food movement, it’s time to join me on the slow flower movement. First Light Flowers is the culmination of a lifetime of gardening and growing and the joy of bringing the outside inside.
