I'm Fern Devine, a cut flower grower and florist based five miles from Stroud, on the edge of the Cotswolds. Since 2021 I have been growing seasonal British flowers and arranging them in our adjoining studio. Whether enjoying them at home, or buying as a gift or for an event, our flowers come straight to you from our 1.5 acre plot. We specialise in beautifully arranged natural-in-style gift bouquets and curated event buckets. In 2024 we expanded to meet the demand for wholesale flowers to individual florists, florist hubs and wholesalers. Flowers are a treat and we take pride and great pleasure in providing our local customers with a diverse range of English country garden flowers. We keep things small and slow at Lapley and everything is carried out with the utmost care. That includes growing sustainably to avoid the damaging pesticides (and carbon footprint) that comes with imported flowers. We also use ‘no dig’ methods to preserve soil structure and use recycled and compostable packaging wherever possible. Lapley Farm Flowers is about making it easy for our local customers to enjoy beautiful seasonal flowers that don’t cost the earth.
