Hi....I’m Rachel, the grower behind 'Oh My Dahlias'. This flower patch is the result of a long-standing love of dahlias and a deep-rooted commitment to sustainability in everything we do here. Initially a veg patch in a quiet corner of our family farm, the vegetables (and sheep) made way for dahlias, and that hobby has since blossomed into a colourful, purposeful space full of flowers. Now, with teenage children and a little more space in life to focus on something just for me, I’m pouring my energy into growing stunning, chemical-free, dahlias, nurtured with care, thoughtfulness, with a strong belief in working with the land, not against it and without the use of plastic. I am offering a range of experiences, including pick-your-own sessions, styling your own vessel in the flower patch, seasonal wholesale buckets for florists, and DIY buckets for small weddings and gatherings with an emphasis on Dahlias. I can style small events, be that a party or a small wedding- all sustainably without the use of plastic. (I absolutely love making 'boutonnière's). Whether you visit to simply wander and pick or you’re planning a celebration and want some serious colour in your arrangements then I may have the flowers to make it happen.
