Hello my name is Caroline. I am a cut flower grower based in North Yorkshire on our farm in Stillingfleet, a few miles south of York. I grow flowers for cutting in the corner of our (fenced off!) cow field. From seed to bouquet I grow beautiful, scented, seasonal blooms including tulips, ranunculus, sweet william, sweet peas, cornflowers, alchemilla, scabious, ammi, larkspur, foxgloves, cosmos, dahlias and many more. I cut my blooms straight into clean water in either the early morning or evening and they remain in buckets of water right up to the moment you the customer receives them. By sowing and potting up into peat free and homemade compost, reusing plastic and finishing my bouquets in twine, Kraft paper and raffia I strive hard to be environmentally sustainable. Whether it be a posy from the cart at our farm gate, a hand tied bouquet or DIY bucket of blooms cut to order for a wedding, their beauty and perfume will bring joy to the senses of both giver and recipient I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you. Caroline.
