Hi, I’m Charlotte. I’ve always been an avid gardener, but when I moved to Parkhouse Cottage, I finally had the space to realise my dreams and true ambition. Moving to Parkhouse ignited the spark to my ambition of growing and selling wonderful flowers as a business. I’ve called my dream ‘Parkhouse Petals’. Over the past years I’ve working hard to improve the typical Weald heavy clay soil. I’ve had help from my horse Ciara and her companions at the stables, who give an endless supply of ‘soil enrichment’. Two years ago. I started to pursue my vision, by starting a cutting ‘garden/patch’. Selling the flowers from an honesty stall whilst I expanded what I could offer. With lots to learn I took up floristry training as well as ‘working with / becoming part of ‘Headcorn Flower arrangers Club (NAFAS members). Pursing a sustainable and floral foam free and ethos.
