About
Hello, we're Sam & Callum of The Colliery Flower Farm. We grow flowers on a small scale in Blackhall Colliery, County Durham. The flowers we grow reflect the seasons, and we are so passionate about the importance of growing and buying British flowers. In line with sustainable growing and floristry, we aim to: Look after the environment by growing flowers without the use of additional heat or light, and without the use of harsh chemicals. Reduce travel miles by growing our own produce and only buying from other British suppliers where necessary. Only use recyclable, compostable, or reusable materials within our floristry. There is no use of floral foam in our arrangements and our wrapping paper is 100% recyclable. Save as much rainwater as possible, to reduce our water supply usage. Save seeds from our plants to propagate new plants.
