Locally grown flowers for Bees and Bouquets Hello! I'm Andrea, a grower-florist based in south Manchester. I grow a small range of seasonal flowers and what I can't grow myself I source from the many wonderful fellow local growers in Cheshire and Lancashire and occasionally in Cornwall and Lincolnshire, depending on the season. Flowers from The Nectar Bar are suitable for all occasions from weddings, funerals, parties and celebrations - everything from dramatic events displays to a casual kitchen table bunch. I also run occasional workshops and supply a lovely local café bar, The Hive in Altrincham, with weekend bunches. With many loyal customers that have been with me since I started in 2017, I specialize in monthly or fortnightly retail flower subscriptions to local households and businesses. Weekend gift bouquets for anyone who needs a floral lift are also available for local delivery. If you are getting married, and want sustainable and truly seasonal flowers, I can supply buckets of flowers for you to arrange yourselves or you can mix and match with Bouquets & Buttonholes arranged by myself. I grow without the use of harmful chemical inputs and my floristry uses sustainable mechanics - no microplastic waste! I aim with the flowers I grow, to provide year round food and habitats for bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects. Hopefully they don't mind sharing some of the abundance with local flower lovers! Mostly I use what I grow in my own floristry business, but sometimes I have enough to supply wholesale through the NW Flower Grower Collective hub.
