About

The Prairie Edit is a cut flower garden, and floral design studio, nestled in the Sussex countryside. I grow, gather and curate luxury wholesale buckets of Sussex grown flowers, in a preferred palette, for florists and creatives. I also create beautiful, premium bouquets of highly-scented blooms with natural movement and a painterly, romantic palette. I specialise in growing heirloom English garden flowers that you seldom find at florists and supermarkets. The Prairie Edit has over 100 varieties of specialty cut flowers, including old fashioned favourites such as delphiniums, poppies, sweet peas and scented garden roses, as well as British wild flowers, such as long stemmed buttercups and blushing lanterns. As part of the slow flower movement, Prairie flowers are grown and harvested in tune with the seasons from April to October using sustainable, organic farming methods – foregoing pesticides and the use of plastic. Flowers and foliage are ethically grown, nurtured by hand and gathered at their seasonal best, ready to be made into specially curated buckets and/or bunches ready for weddings, events, and branding/photograohy. beautiful, scented luxury bouquets are available throughout the growing season, for you and your loved ones – field to vase. Find Prairie flowers on instagram, The Homegrown Market (wholesale, British Flowers) or send a message via our website to order a bucket or bouquet from the cutting gardens. If you are a florist and/or creative, or DIY bride, you can also join our mailing list to get updates on seasonal (weekly) edits of the best of the cutting gardens availability! I’d love to hear from you!
