About

Wildstems is a floral design studio and cutting garden based in Cambridgeshire, set up by Cissy Bullock in 2017. I am a season-led florist, and only work with flowers grown locally and using organic practices, and only using sustainable mechanics. My slightly contrarian nature and occasional rebellious streak is reflected in my floral style, and I’m always striving for designs that are anything but generic with unique and interesting flowers and foraged elements. From relaxed, ethereal bouquets, tied with hand dyed silk, and intricate buttonholes, to large, architectural installations, Wildstems specialises in wild, natural and organic floral arrangements for weddings and events using the most beautiful of ingredients selected for their colour, scent, texture and movement. I also run The School of Sustainable Floristry, in partnership with fellow Flowers from the Farm member Howbury Farm Flowers. Our mission is to shift the UK floristry industry towards the use of locally grown flowers and sustainable mechanics. We teach professional, career change courses, as well as courses for flower lovers and people interested in using locally grown flowers more in their arrangements.
