About

Our flower farm is nestled between Gloucestershire and Monmouthshire, set within a 13-acre farm, based in the ancient village of St Briavels.. Jo is an award winning trained florist, working with a range of clients - from gorgeously wrapped gift bouquets and subscriptions to full bridal consultancy; from large scale installations to an exciting calendar of workshops; from dried-flower arrangements to thoughtful farewell tributes and Flower crown activities - we are passionate about all things floral and pride ourselves on getting to know our customers! Our signature look combines quintessential English country borders with farm-foraged hedgerow foliage. We want our work to look like you have taken a walk in a country garden and gathered arms full of frothy foliage and blousy blooms. We are open March to October, Tues to Sat 9.30-3.30pm, for orders and enquiries by email. Visits by appointment. Check out our events for flower-themed courses, including: PYO bouquet cream tea days, Grow Your Own Cut Flowers courses, Create your own Wedding Flowers, Volunteer days and much more: http://buytickets.at/wyevalleyflowers Sustainability and biodiversity planning is at the heart of everything we do and we have planted 3,000 harvest trees, with the help of 60 community volunteers and established several safe habitats for small mammals. We have installed a 10,000l water capture unit for irrigation. We avoid single-use plastics and floral foam in our designs - as well as peat, pesticides and chemicals on the farm - Beautiful flowers shouldn’t cost the earth! Winners of Muddy Stiletto ‘ Best Florist’ in Glos, Worcs and Cotswold 2023, as well as top 5 in their National Awards. We were Finalists for the 2021-22 Rural Business Awards in the South West, commended by the judges for our community and sustainability work. We were also delighted to represent Flowers from the Farm, among other growers from across the country by providing flowers for The King’s Coronation at Westminster Abbey. We welcomed Clare Balding as our apprentice florist in episode 5 of her series ‘Tales from the Riverbank’. Jo has featured in several National magazines, including English Gardens, Simple Things, Your Smallholding and Country Smallholder. We have also published several blogs and articles about seasonally grown British flowers and we regular speak at special interest events or conferences.
