About

I have my beautiful mum, Janet, to thank for my love of flowers. She would always have a vase of garden flowers on the kitchen table so that we could delight in their beauty close up. For many years gardening and flower arranging was my green therapy which helped to provide the calmness and energy I needed to carry out my work as a therapist. My little floristry business started to grow almost 15 years ago when a friend asked me to provide her wedding flowers. The tremendous joy this gave, lead me to learning more about sustainable floristry. I am now able to provide flowers for all occasions throughout the growing season (March to October) and find that seasonal flowers bring a special kind of natural joy to any event. Providing bucketfuls of seasonal beauty to 'do-it-yourself' brides and flower arrangers is something I especially enjoy. The winter months find me busily caring for autumn planted seedlings and planning for the season ahead or surrounded by gorgeous green foliage during the festive season to provide naturally beautiful Christmas decor. I love finding pre- loved treasures in the form of jars, jugs and ribbons to set off my arrangemts. Using home grown flowers or buying from local growers wherever possible is very important to me and I love that any unused flowers become compost to provide my future blooms.
